Future Plans for Our Soccer Club

At The Golden Knights FC, we are committed to fostering a passion for soccer and creating a vibrant community where players of all ages can thrive. Our vision for the future is ambitious and exciting, aiming to elevate the soccer experience for our members and the local community.

 

Building Our Facility

We recognize the significant shortage of quality practice spaces in our area, which has been a key motivator behind our commitment to developing this facility. Our development will begin with Phase 1, focusing on establishing outdoor soccer fields and essential infrastructure to support players and visitors.

  • Outdoor Soccer Fields: We plan to develop two outdoor soccer fields, which may include one full-sized 11v11 field and one 9v9 field—or potentially two 11v11 fields depending on available space. These fields will serve as the foundation for our youth leagues, training sessions, and community events.

  • Parking: A basic parking lot will be constructed to accommodate players, coaches, and families using the outdoor fields, ensuring convenient access and safety.

  • Lighting and Fencing: Minimal lighting and fencing will be installed around the fields to provide security and allow for evening practices and games, balancing functionality with budget considerations.

  • Restroom Facilities: Portable or permanent restroom facilities will be provided, depending on budget availability, to meet the needs of all visitors and participants.

This initial phase lays the groundwork for expanding our soccer complex, with future development planned as we grow and gain support from donors and sponsors.
